Canterbury Place of Abacoa, Jupiter Real Estate

A desirable neighborhood located just off of Central Boulevard, Canterbury Place of Abacoa (often just referred to as "Canterbury Place") is a small, quiet community. Appealing to a wide range of lifestyles, real estate in this neighborhood is recognizable for its streamlined architecture, built in French Country and Tuscan styles. Although a small canal encircles Canterbury Place, properties are limited to water views only.

In regards to real estate, Canterbury Place comprises 144 single-family homes and 173 townhomes. The community is not gated, but homes are still quite sought-after, and many have recognized the excellent investment opportunity this neighborhood provides. The properties within Canterbury Place are, as mentioned above, similar in architecture, which really adds to curb appeal. As well, there are pathways throughout the neighborhood which allows pedestrians to easily move between streets.

The townhomes in this neighborhood are more regularly found on the market, either to purchase or as rentals. Some of the most desirable units overlook the community green spaces (also referred to as courtyard). Constructed with stone and stucco as their main materials, Canterbury Place townhomes have colorful exteriors, which are painted in yellows, oranges, and pinks primarily. Accent colors on shutters and doors include blue, green, and orange, and really add to the carefully-curated aesthetic of their neighborhood.

These styles carry through the single-family homes for sale, too. With a bit more range in architecture, homes in Canterbury Place are harder to find on the real estate market. Desirable for their walkability and nearby amenities, homes have ample square footage, modern kitchens, and several bedrooms and bathrooms. The neighborhood also has monthly HOA fees, which covers maintenance on the many community amenities.

When it comes to price point, townhomes can (at the lowest) begin at around $500,000, but many are typically for sale between $600,000 and $700,000. Single-family homes. of course, begin slightly higher, between $700,000 and $800,000. There are very rarely some luxury homes for sale, but Canterbury Place is a more affordable neighborhood—ideal for a number of different kids of buyers.
